Jeffrey Harrington graduated from a top-tier university in
Southern California, which he attended on a merit scholarship.
Jeffrey concentrated his legal studies on corporate law and
international business transactions. Through his academic
achievement, he was awarded an extremely competitive clerkship
with Clifford Chance in Barcelona, Spain. Jeffrey also studied
international law in France and Argentina as part of his degree
program. After finishing his juris doctorate, Jeffrey moved to
South Florida and worked for an international law firm in
downtown Miami. He then took an in-house position with a
manufacturing company focused on import/export of transportation
products (i.e. China practice). Before making the move to Palm
Beach County and starting his own practice, Jeffrey also worked
as an in-house advisor for a real estate brokerage firm handling
purchase transactions, joint ventures, investor matters,
developer matters, and disputes.
Prior to his legal career, Jeffrey taught Rhetoric & Writing at
San Diego State University. As a graduate student, Jeffrey moved
to Spain where he mastered Spanish and made important foreign
contacts. Since that experience, he has maintained close ties
with Europe and South America and added a working knowledge of
both French and Portuguese. As an undergraduate, Jeffrey also
studied at University of Hawai’i, and his practice today
includes close collaboration with Hawai’i attorneys in the
context of foreclosure rescue.
Jeffrey’s Palm Beach County practice focuses on general business
and real estate law, as well as bankruptcy, and his niche is
international transactions.
